Instructor – English

I was born in a beautiful place called Playa del Carmen, whose coasts are bathed by the Caribbean Sea and it is also the heart of the Riviera Maya. It was at the age of 12 when a friend invited me to work as a ball boy «bolero» in a hotel, it should be noted that I thought I would be a shoe cleaner (bolero) and very motivated I started this adventure, I was very surprised when I arrived to the tennis courts and even more so when they explained me what a bolero is and does.

At the hotel, I liked tennis as a sport and I had the opportunity to learn from the different and excellent coaches I worked with who gave me tips on technique, rally and how to do the classes, in addition to the guests who also helped me a lot to improve.

At the age of 22 I started my stage as a coach on public courts, in this new challenge I learned mainly with the help of the internet and some courses that I had the opportunity to take as well as the contributions of other coaches that I have met. Aware that I still have a lot to learn, I continue to look for information to keep up to date with the advances in tennis education as well as technique, tactics, technologies, etc.

With 12 years of experience I have helped many children, youth and adults to learn and improve in this sport that has given me so much satisfaction.

I have also been working with the Municipal Sports Institute of Solidaridad for the same time and for 8 years I have been part of the team of coaches who carry out a sports initiation program that is offered to children that lives in Playa del Carmen within which is tennis.

Being able to share what I know about tennis with people of all ages, help them learn, improve and develop their level, instilling in them the pleasure and joy of learning or seeing that they reach their goals makes me feel very happy and grateful with this great opportunity given to me as a tennis coach.

I like to make dynamic and fun classes, focused on improving and taking advantage of each session.

Without neglecting the human side, I like to see children happy, help young people who need and allow it, or listen and share the joys and sorrows of life with adults, all this makes teaching more than a way to earn a living, is a way to connect with people from different parts of the world and especially with those who live in Playa del Carmen.

Very professional, disciplined and constant, the same one that transmits his passion for tennis to the children, he has an impressive empathy with the boys and his classes are very fun.
